Looks like that "adult conversation" about making tough choices, including tax increases, isn't going over so well. And anyway, that's an old idea. At least six hours old. Time to move on.
Apparently he's now in favour of easy answers and happiness for all. Said one anonymous Liberal source:

The Liberals need a policy summit so bad - the brain trust in party headquarters must be playing the hand game, "Rock, Paper, Sissors." To unnerve your opponent you are supposed to shout "Jan-Kan-Pon", not "Election". This is supposed to be a game of skill. Ignatieff and crew need to find another method to formulate party policy. Russian Roulette anyone?
